Fire and Ice

Fire and Ice

LEARN MUSIC WITH FIRE ON THE BRAIN AND ICE IN THE HEART. PERFORM MUSIC WITH ICE ON THE BRAIN AND FIRE IN THE HEART.
It’s self-explanatory, but I love this quote so very much. Learn music with fire on the brain so that you may quickly set yourself up to perform the music with fire in your heart.

I would be remiss if I didn’t give credit to Mark Green, lead singer for the 1994 Barbershop Harmony Society International Quartet Champion, Joker’s Wild. He said he heard this phrase from Liz Hardcastle, lead singer of Sweet Adelines International 1986 International Champion Quartet, Ambiance. He told it to my quartet in a coaching session, and it has stuck with me ever since.
